Float imagines a glass table as a record of its own history. A 3D-printed base with a digitally programmed surface generates a topography of light and reflection. Within the base glass, an image of tin microspheres is embedded—an homage to the molten tin bath that gives float glass its flawless surface. The table becomes a narrative loop: molten glass once floating on tin now holds tin within glass, image turned material memory.
